Faculty Development in Health Education: Onward and Upward.

In an effort to design superior programs and deal with such problems as declining enrollment and low admissions standards, a model is presented for faculty development in college departments of health education. Four critical components of the model are described: (1) setting objectives; (2) faculty evaluation; (3) reward system; and (4) communication and administrative process. (JN)
