A survey was made to ascertain the present status and needs of public school health education in Wyoming. Findings are reported, conclusions are drawn, and recommendations for Wyoming school health educators are highlighted. (MT)

A sample consisting of 216 high school special education students from 16 different Kentucky school systems who were either educable mentally retarded or learning disabled were administered a health knowledge test. Results are disclosed, and implications for health educators are discussed. (MT)

This article discusses the ethical implications of using tests intended only to protect the blood supply as diagnostic or prognostic tests for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). This study examined treatment-related changes in the health-related variables of weight, exercise, and diet. Two hundred and twenty teachers participated in health promotion workshops, with 115 teachers serving as a control group. Pretests and posttests were administered. Results are presented. (MT)

This study examined how students' perceptions of silhouette drawings of various weights would change when descriptors of Likert-like endpoints describing heavy and thin weights were changed. Subjects were 211 college students who completed one of five forms of a questionnaire differing only in endpoint descriptors. Results are discussed. (MT)
