Belief in AIDS as a Form of Genocide: Implications for HIV Prevention Programs for African Americans.
Quinn, Sandra Crouse
Journal of Health Education, v28 n6 suppl pS6-S11 Nov-Dec 1997
Surveyed black church members nationwide to examine factors associated with beliefs that AIDS is a form of genocide, trust in federal government reports on AIDS, and level of AIDS knowledge. Substantial numbers of respondents believed AIDS was a form of genocide and confirmed that belief in genocide is not accounted for by AIDS knowledge level. (SM)
