In-depth interviews with 40 highly successful Canadian women in seven career fields point to the importance of relationships, role models, and intrinsic motivation as factors for success. Results suggest a model for career development that is uniquely female and is based on a sense of agency, cooperation, and versatility. (Author/DB)

A study investigated the academic and social development of 25 Canadian gifted students (ages 12-14) in a congregated class at a Catholic high school.
