General Educators' Specialized Adaptation for Students with Learning Disabilities.
Fuchs, Lynn S.; And Others
Exceptional Children, v61 n5 p440-59 Mar-Apr 1995
Twenty elementary teachers were supported in developing curriculum-based measurement and peer-mediated instruction to serve math students with learning disabilities (LD); 10 of the teachers also used decision rules and specialized adaptations when student progress was inadequate. Teachers implemented the specialized adaptation with respectable levels of fidelity, but enhanced LD student learning did not result. (Author/JDD)
