Interviews with Hispanic parents of 63 children receiving special education services in San Diego, California, indicated parents were very satisfied with the special education program but often unaware of services being provided. Comparison with Black and Anglo families on such variables as participation in the assessment process revealed significant differences. (Author/DB)
