An Analysis of Conversations among Handicapped Students and a Nonhandicapped Peer.
Nisbet, Jan; And Others
Exceptional Children, v51 n2 p156-62 Oct 1984
Three moderately mentally retarded Down's Syndrome students (12-15 years old) were videotaped in conversations with each other and with the nonhandicapped peer. Analysis of part of the interaction revealed that Ss exhibited less productive verbal behavior with more competent nonhandicapped peers than with less competent peers. (CL)
