Rationale and Procedures for Increasing the Productivity of Inexperienced Writers.
Moran, Mary Ross
Exceptional Children, v54 n6 p552-58 Apr 1988
This paper describes a program that systematically increases the composition productivity of disabled students who are inexperienced writers. Program features include building discourse units, using student-generated language, and incorporating self-evaluation. Procedures for small group instruction focus on constructing and testing clauses, combining clauses into T-units, and combining T-units into paragraphs. (Author/JDD)
