Ratings of Educable Mentally Handicapped Students by Regular and Special Teachers

In a study to determine differences between 35 regular and 16 special class teachers' behavioral adjustment ratings of 61 educable mentally handicapped children (8 to 14-years-old), differences found in four items of the students' abilities were attributed to the fact that the student exhibited different behavior to the special class teacher than to the regular class teacher.
