Degree of Sociability and Interactive Behaviors in Dyadic Situations of Problem Solving.
Da Silva, Eric; Winnykamen, Fayda
European Journal of Psychology of Education, v13 n2 p253-70 Jun 1998
Examines the relationships among the sociability of children, their dyadic problem-solving behavior, and their subsequent level of individual performance. Finds that sociable children more often initiate collaboration; less sociable children exhibit more individualistic behavior; and collaboration effects on individual performance vary by the characteristics of the paired students.
