This special issue of the "Indiana English Journal" is devoted exclusively to the writing of Jesse Stuart. Two of his poems, "John and Ephesus" and "Synthetic Heroes," are included, as well as an interview with Stuart in which his life history, his views on writing in general, and his views on his own writing in particular are discussed.
