Thirty-six cognitive, affective and demographic variables in addition to two measures of musical experience were used to predict algebra and geometry grades and teacher ratings of student math aptitude for three hundred high school students. Cognitive measures were the best predictors although some affective variables made significant contributions. (JKS)
