A Manipulative Study of the Effect of Instructional Set on the Convergent and Discriminant Validity of Questionnaire Measures of Trait and State Anxiety: A Comparative Factor Analytic Approach
Bartsch, Thomas W.
Educational and Psychological Measurement, 36, 4, 885-98, Win 76

A control group received no special instructions. Analysis of variance of factor scores indicated that simulations altered level of state anxiety but not trait anxiety. (Author/JKS)
