An Empirical Test of Factor Structure Stability in Attitude Measurement

The stability of factor structure of an instrument measuring managerial attitudes toward blacks in the working environment was investigated. Results indicated that the factor structure did not remain invariant over administrations to three different samples of managers. The implications for the psychological measurement of attitudes are discussed. (Author/JKS)
