Investigating the Construct Validity of Scores from a Measure of Student Perceptions about Mathematics Classroom Activities Using Multidimensional Scaling.
Tittle, Carol Kehr; And Others
Educational and Psychological Measurement, v56 n4 p701-09 Aug 1996
The construct validity of scores on the Mathematics Assessment Questionnaire of 1,505 junior high school students was studied using 3-way multidimensional scaling analyses. Findings generally support validity and confirm that psychological constructs are differentially important to students' perceptions of instructional activity settings. (SLD)
