Validation of the Attitude toward Any Practice Scale through the Use of Ambivalence as a Moderate Variable.
Moore, Michael
Educational and Psychological Measurement, v40 n1 p205-08 Spr 1980
Remmers' Attitude toward Any Practice Scale was used to measure undergraduates' attitudes toward recycling, gambling, and keeping a pet. Ambivalence scores, in addition to traditional attitude scores, were obtained. The coefficients of concurrent validity were considerably higher for respondents who scored low in ambivalence.
