The Number of Factors in the 16PF: A Review of the Evidence with Special Emphasis on Methodological Problems.
Cattell, Raymond B.; Krug, Samuel E.
Educational and Psychological Measurement, v46 n3 p509-22 Aut 1986

It concludes that the number of important primaries encapsulated in the series is no fewer than the stated number. (Author/JAZ)
