The Validity of Selected Measures to Predict Success on a Non-Traditional Criterion Developed for an Educational Research Program.
Stauffer, A. J.
Educational and Psychological Measurement, v43 n1 p237-41 Spr 1983
The relationship of each of three selected predictors (1) self-reported confidence in knowledge of research competencies, (2) importance attached to them, and (3) attitude toward educational research to a non-traditional criterion measure showed no significant correlation. The psychometric characteristics of the non-traditional criterion involved quantity and quality of research activities. (Author)
