Structural equation models require formidable computational techniques. Testing the goodness of fit involves discrepancies between original correlations among variables and correlations estimated by solved path coefficients. A nonasymptotic Chi-Square analysis algorithm is presented to investigate r by c contingency tables where small expected cell frequencies render the usual asymptotic analysis inappropriate. Two large samples of high school teachers were rated for teaching effectiveness by the teachers and by their students, using the IDEA Form H. Factor analyses yielded highly similar underlying dimensions. Convergent validity coefficients were significant for all factors, supporting the validity of student ratings. (Author/GDC)

The relationships were examined between the Ball Aptitude Battery (BAB) and the Comprehensive Ability Battery, Differential Aptitude Tests, and General Aptitude Test Battery. The Maslach Burnout Inventory was administered to 72 upper-level and graduate students. Item-responses were intercorrelated and subjected to factor analyses. Support was obtained for the three hypothesized factors: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment. (Author/GDC)

The Learning Style Questionnaire is a new 40-item semantic differential rating scale designed to assess individual learning styles within an experiential learning model.
