A Factor-Analytic Study of Job Satisfaction among Special Educators.

A job satisfaction questionnaire was developed, and 485 special educators of the mentally retarded, learning disabled, emotionally disturbed, and severely handicapped responded to its dissemination. Factor analysis resulted in seven factors. Analysis of variance indicated differences between groups on factors dealing with Behavior Management Skills, Working Conditions, and Leadership Opportunities. (Author/BS)
