Draws upon contextualism (a normative theory of social justice that takes seriously the heterogeneity of human value commitments) to propose a framework for educational accountability that is premised on accountability's normativity and the diversity of educators' desired aims, focusing on: liberal contextualism and democratic education; and liberal contextualism's three realms of accountability (right, association, and meaning).(SM)
