Describes a study conducted with eleventh graders that compared the effects of computer-based instruction (CBI) and print-based instruction (PBI) on motivation, continuing motivation, and content recall. Use of the Instructional Materials Motivation Survey (IMMS) is explained, and the findings, which indicate the superiority of CBI, are discussed. (32 references) (LRW)
