'What is the Good?': A Comparison of Young People's Responses to Two Unfinished Sentences about Values.

Describes a study which compared the responses of 820 British 15-year-olds to unfinished sentences about their images of the ideal person and their ultimate values. A comparison of responses shows that the second sentence caused reduced materialistic and fantasy responses, and increased references to family and friends. (AM)
