Boys and girls were given a measure of extraversion-introversion which was taken as an indication of their positions on the verbal-imagery learning style continuum and a test of reasoning ability. Three types of mathematics tests were given: computation, spatial relations and length. Two significant interactions were observed. (Author/AM)

Describes a study which examined how the race of a test administrator affected British students' sociometric ratings of friendship. Describes a study which compared the responses of 820 British 15-year-olds to unfinished sentences about their images of the ideal person and their ultimate values. A comparison of responses shows that the second sentence caused reduced materialistic and fantasy responses, and increased references to family and friends. (AM)
