Racial Differences among School Psychologists in Their Perceptions of Role and Function.

Differences were investigated in perception of Black and White school psychologists regarding their professional role(s). Both gave a high rating to testing and assessment; Whites were less concerned than Blacks with reaching school objectives and identifying with other professionals on the Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) team.
