A survey of administrators in six Scottish secondary schools found that home-based factors are viewed as probable causes of disruptive behavior, but school-based strategies are considered likely reduction mechanisms. Individual staffs differed significantly in the extent to which they believed that the problem can be controlled by the schools. (Author/CH)
