Undergraduate education majors participated in a mastery learning situation (unlimited retesting and relearning until the end of the semester) or a modified mastery situation (only two trials per unit allowed). Higher levels of prior achievement and the modified mastery approach were associated with greater learning and retention. (GDC)

Graduate and undergraduate students participated in the development of a Likert-type rating scale designed to measure teachers' attitudes toward educational research. Preliminary research supported the instrument's reliability and validity. It can also be used to measure attitude change and to improve educational research courses. (GDC)

The relationships of age, gender, and educational level with moral development in 94 middle-class 28- to 55-year-old adults (32 males and 62 females) were studied.
