The Validity of Using US Based Interest Norms of the Strong Interest Inventory for Icelandic College Population.

In a study designed to investigate the cross-cultural similarity of vocational interests as measured by the Strong Interest Inventory, an Icelandic version was administered to 413 college students in different majors. Results indicate that United States' norms are valid for Icelandic groups and allow satisfactory prediction of vocational interests. (SLD)
