Reexamination of Input and Process Factor Effects on Public School Achievement.
Caldas, Stephen J.
Journal of Educational Research, v86 n4 p206-14 Mar-Apr 1993
This study examined the effects on, and contribution of, input and process factors on student achievement in Louisiana public schools. Socioeconomic and minority status strongly predicted school achievement. Discrepancy between white and African-American students' achievement increased with grade level. Student attendance substantially affected achievement, but school and class size did not. (SM)
