Variations between Secondary Teachers' Jobs.

One hundred thirty-three secondary school teachers were asked to describe their jobs using a teaching activity checklist. Responses were analyzed in terms of subject, sex, scale, and special responsibility. Resultant patterns reflect a three-tier hierarchy in school activities and prevalence of the concept of exclusivity. (SK)
