Predicting Performance of Above and Below Average Performers in Graduate Business Schools: A Split Sample Regression Analysis.
Wright, Robert E.; Palmer, John C.
Educational Research Quarterly, v22 n1 p72-79 Sep 1998
The purpose of this split-sample regression study was to determine whether quantitative and verbal scores on the Graduate Management Admissions Test, undergraduate grade point averages, age, and gender differentially predicted performance for 198 MBA students. Findings suggest that commonly used predictor variables may predict achievement differentially for high and low performers. (SLD)
