Studied parent's choice of preschool facility in a Swedish city to illustrate social and cultural changes in Swedish society. Findings from a survey completed by 1,584 mothers show that parents' use of the right to choose a preschool facility is economically, socially, and culturally segregated, although patterns of choice are not a simple effect of housing segregation.
