Is There an Age Decline in Victimization by Peers at School.
Salmivalli, Christina
Educational Research, v44 n3 p269-77 Win 2002
Cross-sectional data from 600 girls, 620 boys, and 45 teachers in fourth through sixth grades revealed a clear age-related decline in self-reports of victimization by bullies that was not confirmed by peer and teacher reports. Frequency of self-identified victims (not reputed to be victims by their peers) decreased as a function of age. (Contains 22 references.) (SK)
