Spurring Economic Growth through Education: The Malaysian Approach

The economic progress made by many countries is attributed to many factors. Education is often quoted as a major contributing factor. There are many researches done in evaluating and determining the role of education in nations. In this paper, factors of education which have helped in the case of Malaysia are dwelled upon. Education has helped this country by strengthening and widening the quality of human capital available. How this is done is explored. Most of the factors that contributed are related to the education system practiced in this country. (Contains 5 figures.)
