Levels of Processing Effects on Learning from Texts with Maps.
Scevak, Jill J.; Moore, Phillip J.
Educational Psychology: An International Journal of Experimental Educational Psychology, v18 n2 p133-55 Jun 1998

Shows that, in both studies, the effectiveness of directed, forced processing of texts and maps depends upon the level of processing encouraged and the ability of the students concerned. (CMK)
