What Responses to Domain-Specific Analogy Problems Reveal about Emerging Competence: A New Perspective on an Old Acquaintance.
Alexander, Patricia A.; Murphy, P. Karen; Kulikowich, Jonna M.
Journal of Educational Psychology, v90 n3 p397-406 Sep 1998

Cross-study results provided support for the response categories proposed by P. Alexander (1990) and their hierarchical structure. (SLD)
