Self-Regulated Learning and College Students' Regulation of Motivation.
Wolters, Christopher A.
Journal of Educational Psychology, v90 n2 p224-35 Jun 1998
Self-report data from 115 college students provided evidence that students regulate their levels of effort in academic tasks by using a variety of cognitive, volitional, and motivational strategies, and that their use of strategies varies across motivational problems. Relationships of motivational regulation to goal orientation, cognitive strategies, and course grades are discussed. (SLD)
