Using Student Achievement Data in Teacher and Principal Evaluations: A Policy Study
Piro, Jody; Wiemers, Roger; Shutt, Tammy
International Journal of Educational Leadership Preparation, v6 n4 Oct-Dec 2011

Nearly half of state legislatures in the United States have passed similar legislation in the past two years. This article examines recent state legislative policy requiring measures of student achievement to be included in teacher and principal evaluations. (Contains 9 footnotes.)
