Streamlining Interagency Collaboration for Youth At Risk.
Guthrie, Grace Pung; Guthrie, Larry F.
Educational Leadership, v49 n1 p17-22 Sep 1991
Interagency collaboration to serve youngsters' needs should be comprehensive, preventive, child-centered, and flexible. Streamlining collaboration involves mapping the territory, surveying the field, reviewing current needs and services, developing a plan, and getting started. Pitfalls include talking without acting, creating an interagency czar or superagency, confusing information with knowledge, and using jargon. (nine references) (MLH)
