Why Students Aren't Learning Very Much from Textbooks.
Tyson, Harriet; Woodward, Arthur
Educational Leadership, v47 n3 p14-17 Nov 1989

This article explores deficiencies in science, social studies, and history and offers remedial actions. The key is a careful selection process. Includes 20 references. (MLH)
