Memo to Constructivists: Skills Count, Too.
Harris, Karen R.; Graham, Steve
Educational Leadership, v53 n5 p26-29 Feb 1996
Abolishing direct-instruction and skill-practice opportunities could have serious consequences for special-needs learners. This means conducting ongoing assessments of each student's abilities, skills, and progress and arranging necessary supports. (15 references) (MLH)
