Integrating Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences.
Silver, Harvey; Strong, Richard; Perini, Matthew
Educational Leadership, v55 n1 p22-27 Sep 1997
Multiple-intelligences theory (MI) explores how cultures and disciplines shape human potential. Both MI and learning-style theories reject dominant ideologies of intelligence. Whereas learning styles are concerned with differences in the learning process, MI centers on learning content and products. Blending learning styles and MI theories via integrated intelligence menus may help minimize each theory's limitations and enhance its strengths. (MLH)
