Lessons from Greece: A Body, Mind, Spirit Odyssey
Lyman, Linda L.
Journal of Women in Educational Leadership, v4 n2 p77-79 Apr 2006
In Spring Semester 2005, the author was a visiting Fulbright professor at Aristotle University in Greece. The purpose of the Fulbright Program is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of the 150 or so countries that currently participate in the Fulbright Program. In this article, the author looks back and shares the lessons she learned from living and teaching in Greece from January through July. To her it was definitely "an odyssey"--bringing adventures of the body, mind, and spirit. It was a life-altering journey with multiple layers of learning to bring home.
