Describes use of "Voices from the Field: Reading and Writing about the World, Ourselves, and Others," a curriculum resource containing personal narratives by returning Peace Corps Volunteers and lesson plans for teaching students to develop their reading and writing skills within a global perspective and to understand and appreciate certain common values despite cultural differences.
