Triangulated data from focus groups, interviews, and questionnaires of 154 Elderhostel participants identified factors influencing their choice of the Elderhostel learning experience. A typology was developed that classified participants as follows: activity oriented, geographical interest, experimenter, adventurer, content committed, and opportunist. (SK)
