Graduate (n=96) and undergraduate (n=67) students identified the characteristics that influenced their knowledge of and interest in working with older people. The number of personal and professional experiences involving older adults positively influenced their interest. There were no age or gender differences in responses. (Contains 22 references.) (SK)
