Prospective Memory Training in Older Adults.

Twenty adults received training in prospective memory; 23 who received training in reducing worries about forgetfulness and 22 controls formed a comparison group. Results of a telephone task and a prospective categorization task revealed significant but small effects for the prospective memory group. After 3 months, the comparison group's performance was equal to the treatment group's. (Contains 31 references.) (SK)
