Ego Development and the Influence of Gender, Age, and Educational Levels among Older Adults.

Older adults (n=159) completed the Washington University Sentence Completion Test, based on Loevinger's ego development theory. Older men and women had similar ego development levels. Educational level had a significant influence on ego development into the later years of life. (Contains 30 references.) (SK)
