Older adults (n=159) completed the Washington University Sentence Completion Test, based on Loevinger's ego development theory. Older men and women had similar ego development levels. Results from the Kolb Learning Style Inventory for 172 older adults showed them evenly distributed across Accommodator (ages 55-65), Diverger (66-74), and Assimilator (75+) styles, with few Convergers. With age, it appears that adults tend to become more observational and reflective. (SK)
