The Area under x[superscript [alpha]] by Geometry

By stretching the area under the curve x[superscript [alpha]] it is shown to be of the form x[superscript [alpha] + 1] p([alpha]). Geometry is then used to prove p([alpha]) = 1/([alpha] + 1).
